LLC

 Last Tuesday,  I went to LLC in PUK!! I used the application "Chojimaku" to watch some videos. I found this application is so useful. So I want to make good use of it to improve my English and Japanese.

A Jack and Three Queens

 When Briff, Wilf and Kipper travel back in time to Elizabethan London, they know that the Virans could be anywhere. But they don't expect their adventure to take them to the theatre-where they meet a certain William Shakespeare, and even Queen Elizabeth herself?

 As a result, the government kept a tight control on the theatre. Women, for example, were not allowed to become actors. That is why boys had to play female roles. You can find the picture about an old sketch of the Globe Theatre in London in this book. And people still watch a play at the new Globe theatre today. This book gave me a lesson about history of Britain! 

What was it like?

 The children are in a play about War World Two. They find it hard to be serious. Then the magic key takes them back in time.

 The situation of War World Two might be more serious than we had imaged. The magic key in this book showed me how hard it was in the war. Thanks for lots of solders and some people fought for peace, we can live a happy life now! We should never forget the history, and we have to cherish the moment, cherish now.

Avengers: Infinity War

 Last Saturday, I watched the movie, "Avengers: Infinity War". It is the third installment of the Marvel's The Avengers. Before this, I have almost watched all the movies of the Marvel. This movie made me excited. Even though it was not the ending I want. So I'm looking forward to watching the next. You gonna never miss it!

THE OOZE

 YOU are a college student. One day, while cleaning the bathroom, you find something odd... and very hungry!

 I hope to have a pet and a roommate. Have you ever had an unusual or dangerous pet? In this story, if I have to choose, I would keep my roommate safe.  If the ooze was real, what would you do with it?

Cafe Event at LLC

I have been interested in Korean things from my fifth grade in elementary school. I love watching dramas and listening to K-pop. So yesterday I took part in the cafe event in LLC! There are two students from Sangmyung University. Thanks to them, I could know the history of shaved ice in Korea and Korean culture and school life. I found similarities between Korea and China. Also, I made friends with seniors. It was very awesome!

Mr Bean:Toothache

 It was funny when he pulled his tooth out by himself. When I was little, I cried out with pain when my mother pulled my tooth out. And I did not go to see the dentist. In my family, we usually handle this by ourselves. What about the situation about the way of pulling tooth in Japan? Will you go to the dentist? Please tell me more! And don't forget to read this book. 

The Nightingale

 The Nightingale was written by Hans Christian Andersen.This story is about a Chinese king and a nightingale. I searched the background of this story. And when I saw the picture, I understood it. Actually, Hans Christian Andersen has not been to China, but he could describe the landscape of China. The answer is in this picture! The Tivoli Gardens in Denmark.

Ella International Event

Last Saturday, I joined the Ella International Event. And I also made new friends from the students of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Firstly, we introduced ourselves after the ice breaking. Then,
we used Chinese, Japanese and English to discuss the difference between Hong Kong and Japan about culture, festival, college life and so on. This event was awesome! Thank you for all students, teachers and other people from Hong Kong. 

Changing Places

He works at the zoo every day and his life isn't exciting - until he meets Tim.Tim is a movie star. He has a difficult life, and he is unhappy - until he meets Hal. But when they meet, and agree to change places, interesting things start to happen. And, by changing places, the two men learn what is truly important in their lives.

 I couldn't believe they are so similar! And they changed their lives each other. When I was little, I also wanted to live like the person who played in the drama.
