The Outside Dog

 One day, Marisol and her grandfather find a skinny brown mutt sitting outside their house. Grandfather is worried about fleas and ticks and whatever. But Marisol persuades him to feed the dog leftovers from dinner.

 Marisol had always wanted a dog, but her grandfather said they had fleas and ticks and who knows that. One day, they came home and found a dog sitting near their home. Grandfather chased him away. But that evening, the dog came back. After a few days, grandfather could see Marisol was happy. But she thought her grandfather would never agree to keep it. Can she convince him to give this outside dog a home?

If the fence breaks, wild animals could come inside and kill the horses and cows. One day, there is a large brown animal walking around on the other side of the fence. It's a bear. Here comes two choices. Do you shoot into the air to scare away the bear or do you sit on your horse without moving? So what would you like to do?
