The Ransom of Red Chief

Sam and Bill only have two hundred dollars when they arrive in the small town of Summit. They want to kidnap the son of the richest man in town. Johnny Dorset is a small boy but he gives Sam and Bill a good stays. They take him into the woods. Johnny says that his name is Red Chief now. He plays and plays with Bill! He put a spider in his bed. Soon Bill is very tired of the little boy. They decide to write a letter to Johnny's father.They ask for a big ransom. But when Mr Dorset answers, he says no. He tells Sam and Bill to give him money. Then they can escape from Johnny. They give the money and then run out of Summit. What a interesting story！

The Fifteenth Character

The main character is Sally, who works at Happy Hills. One day Zapp the famous singer is coming and it is a very exciting day. Everybody is having good time. But Zapp's CD is lost, Everybody is unhappy, but Zapp is angry too. Finally they found the CD from Mr Parry's Jobs for Today list. Sally and William are in London because they are looking forward to Zapp's concert. Everybody wants to hear Zapp' s new song.

A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Cour

  A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court is a story of science fiction. I like the series like this. And I surprised at the beginning of this book, whose hero hit by the elder man. He opens his eyes and he is in sixty century England. After something happened, his life changes forever.

The Clever Woman

 Today I read The Clever Woman. The hero of this book is Sean Murphy, who is looking forward to coming home after work. He is tired and he wants to relax and read a good book. But his family makes too much noise that he can't relax. So he decides to go to see Linda McCormack. Mrs McCormack gives Mr Murphy some advice to deal with this problem. Now his house seems very quiet. Mr Murphy is happy because now he can read his book.

POLICE TV

This is a story by the author Tim Vicary, published in 2000. It's a novel full of suspense.After reading this book, I reminded a word by Lao-tzu, "Justice has long arms, those who die evil would be punished by justice eventually." And the police of this story really made me respect!

The Baobab Tree

Today I read The Baobab Tree. This story is based on a South African tale about a tree known as the baobab. The baobab tree looks as if its roots are in the air, so people came up with stories to explain its strange shape. It was easy to read for beginner.
