SLA Junior Seminar 2: Women in Business

'Fashion is not just about dresses; fashion is something in the air. Fashion is in the sky, the street. Fashion is about ideas, the way we live, what is happening.'                                                                                          Coco Chanel

Do you know the person on the cover of this book? It tells the business stories of five women from different backgrounds. You may have a chance to experience how they started their career. They are fashion designer Coco Chanel and Hanae Mori, or The Body Shop owner Anita Roddick, the best know talk show hostess Oprah Winfrey and "Queen of Pop" Madonna.
This time I want to introduce one story of them. She is very active, and never let go of any possible chance of success. With absolute confidence, a keen sense of fashion, opening of the 20th century fashion trend. She believes that is you work hard, success will be yours. One of the most famous fragrance, Chanel No. 5 has been described as "the world's most legendary fragrance", and is sold worldwide every 55 seconds. Now, I am sure you must have guessed it. Her name is Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel. Today, her name is the biggest in the fashion.
The only thing I want to say is that no woman can't do what man can do, only man can't do something women can, isn't it?

SLA Junior Seminar 1: A Picture to remember

She loves art and is happy with her life. Then one day she has a motorbike accident and can't remember some things.

The main character of this book is Cristina who works in a museum. She likes riding the motorbike. One day, when she went back home by motorbike, as usual, she saw two men with a gun in her next car while waiting for a traffic light. She couldn't notice that the traffic light turned to green, and a taxi hit the back of her bike. She lost her memory. She could only remember there was a red flower's tattoo on the man's neck.
This book's cover doesn't express thriller, but the story is it. I can enjoy reading this book, and I couldn't predict the end of this story. The last section was really surprising and clear. So after reading whole the story, it was not so bad.
