Faith's pa says there's no room on a wagon train for her pet, Josefina, a chicken who is too old to do anything. Can Josefina show Pa that the old bird still has a few surprises left?
I could feel the friendship between Faith and Josefina. I can image how she loves her pet. And in the ending, Josefina died helping the family. She lived a good long life because of Faith's help. Though I have not kept a hen, I think we should respect everything's life. If you like animals, how about reading this book?|
